Exploring three-dimensional forms that engage with both the structure of architecture and the openness of a natural environment. Along with exploring new sculptural objects and paintings, I am creating medium size drawings that act as two-dimensional maquettes for future dimensional works or installations. I see these works as both completed drawings and working sketches. I am investigating the various ways to achieve dimensionality by cutting into the paper, or adding texture through other mediums. By taking parts from my past work, I am minimizing space through pure forms and geometric and abstracted imagery.
